Salem to host Spring Fling March 31

The Town of Salem is hosting a Spring Fling from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at the town hall, 9814 Antioch Road.

The event will include a variety of vendors and arts and crafters. Donations of homemade good would be appreciated for the bake sale.

Beginning at 1 p.m. an Easter egg hunt will be held for children ages 2 to 10.

There is not enough space to accommodate everyone who wants a table for the event. However, there is an opportunity for individuals, churches, civic organizations, knitting and quilting clubs, babysitting services, restaurants, boat services, lawn mover services, etc. to supply flyers, pamphlets, business cards or other advertising materials for inclusion in the Salem Chamber packet.

The packets will be given to each adult attending the Spring Fling. Last year 300 bags were given out. No political items will be accepted.

There is no cost to participate. You must bring your prepared, flat material to the Western Kenosha County Historic Society at village hall. Label it to the attention of the History Group.

You must have your literature prepared and plan on brining at least 300 pieces. If you printed four per page, they must be cut out. Deliver your item in its own box or bag to keep it neat and clean. Items must be delivered no later than 4 p.m. March 29. No late deliveries will be accepted.

Members of the Western Kenosha County Historical Society members will put the materials into the Salem Chamber packets.

Any extra Chamber packets will be left on the town hall table in the lobby for pickup by any visitors to the hall.
