Bong Rec to host fishing clinic

 

Richard Bong State Recreation Area is hosting a fishing clinic called, “Learn to Fish for Panfish and Bass!” This is a four-session class is offered over two days. Pack a lunch if you plan to stay for both sessions on both days.

Panfishing – Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Bass Fishing, Session 1 – Saturday, March 24 from 1 o 3 p.m.

Bass Fishing, Session 2 – Saturday, March 31 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The fourth session is a hands-on pond demonstration on Saturday, March 31 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Target age: Panfishing for youth and bass fishing for 16 and over.

In Milwaukee-Racine-Washington-Waukesha counties the 28th annual Kids’ Spring Fishing Clinics are offered to for children 15 years and younger on Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Fishing equipment is available, but bring your own rod and reel if possible. No pre-registration is necessary. Groups of 20 or more are asked to call (414) 263-8614.
