SANDRA C. KOSIROG

Sandra “Sandi” C. Kosirog, 50, of Pardeeville, died on March 21, 2012, at her home in Pacific Township.

Kosirog was born on June 27, 1961, in Madison, the daughter of Phillip and the late Caroline (Nowak) Olson. She grew up in the Twin Lakes area, and moved to the Poynette area in 1995.

She married Larry Kosirog on Oct. 27, 1995. She was employed at Piggly Wiggly in Poynette for 13 years.  Sandi bowled for many years and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a people person; she cherished her friends, her family and her pets.  The legacy she left to us is how she taught us not to hate and what family is supposed to be.

She is survived by her husband; and her son, Benjamin Kuhn, both of Pardeeville; her father, Phillip Olson, King; brothers, Scott, Onalaska; Stuart (Roxanne), Burlington, and Sam, Burlington; a sister, Suzie (Jeff) Shaw, Lyndon Station; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Caroline Olson; a brother, Steven and her nephew, Jason Tolle.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, with the Rev. Scott Schwertfeger officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later date.  Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society in Sandi and Larry’s name.
