The Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast returns for another year, when Daniels Dairy Farm in Brighton opens its farm to visitors from around the region on Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Last year, the event drew in 3,659 people at Crane Dairy Farm, LLC, just 116 short of reaching a record set in 2014 when Weis-Way Dairy farm held the annual community gathering.

Kenosha County Dairy Promotions serves as event sponsor.

Daniels Dairy Farm, in the same family for seven generations, boasts 310 Holstein cows, which produce 21,000 pounds of milk per day, the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau reports.

Additionally, along the agricultural landscape, the farm features corn, wheat and hay on 550 acres.

With vast farmland and a milking parlor, the event promises to deliver fun for the family, the KACVB states.

“The event is fun for the whole family,” the website states.

Family-friendly features include a farm breakfast, milking demonstrations, products from local vendors for purchase and a series of other activities.

Other activities include an Agriculture in Action tent and games for children.

Cost to savor a breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, pancakes, fresh bread with butter, yogurt, muffin and juice is $6 for adults and free for children younger than six years old.

In 2015, Herda Farms LLC hosted the Dairy Breakfast.
