Hooker Lake to be treated

The Hooker Lake Management District has announced it will be chemically treating up to 20 acres of Hooker Lake for control of the invasive species Eurasian water-milfoil and curly-leaf pondweed. The treatment is scheduled for May and signs will be posted when the application begins. No swimming or fishing will be allowed for seven days following application.
