County-wide hazardous waste collection set for May 5

Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser has announced this year’s Household Hazardous Waste Program will be held May 5.

“The Kenosha County Household Hazardous Waste Program is a free program and a great opportunity for County, non-city, residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste in an environmentally friendly way,” Kreuser said.

The Kenosha County Household Hazardous Waste Program was established for people living in Kenosha County, outside the City of Kenosha. This year, county residents may dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste, for free, on Saturday, May 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th Street in the Town of Bristol. This is the only collection date scheduled for this year.

What will be accepted?
