In this week’s Twin Lakes Report…

Whenever anyone attends a high school sporting event, the school’s athletic trainer often sits at the end of the bench, but the healthcare profession does more to keep student-athletes healthy and even offers assistance with continuing care.

The Report profiled the athletic trainers at both Westosha Central and Wilmot Union high schools for a feature piece in this week’s print edition.

This week’s Report will also have more on two criminal cases in the Village of Twin Lakes, with one involving a Baltimore man, and the other related to the police captain.

The newspaper will be available at retail outlets on Friday and subscribers will receive their copies with Friday’s mail. To arrange for weekly delivery, click here: SUBSCRIBE.

Here’s a look at the other stories in this week’s Report:

FIREHOUSE PLAN: Citing costs, the Wheatland Town Board sent back a multi-million dollar fire station plan to committee.

MARSY’S LAW: An area woman went from being a victim to an advocate.

ANOTHER CLASH: Westosha Central and Wilmot went head-to-head for the third time in boys basketball.

CENTURY MARK: Wilmot boys basketball coach Jake Erbentraut won his 100th career game with the program.
