Town of Randall officials and the fire department are enforcing a total campfire/cooking fire ban at the Country Thunder campgrounds this week, unless a heavy down pour changes current tinder-like conditions.
Town of Randall President Bob Stoll said there will be patrols going through the campground enforcing this rule. If campers won’t cooperate, the county will step in. Gas grills for cooking will be allowed but common sense should prevail throughout the festival.
