Business in the Park is Saturday

Judging by the list of vendors and activities scheduled, it will be a full day at the Twin Lakes Chamber and Business Association’s newest endeavor, Business in the Park, on Saturday, Aug. 25, to be held 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the public parking lot on Marin Street, next to the Chamber office.

A business to Business breakfast will be held from 8:30 to 9:15 to allow vendors to network, then the event will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be a farmer’s market, children’s activity area, retail and craft sales and food.

Vendors who had confirmed as of prese time Monday include: Abraham’s On-Site Shredding Service, LLC. They are promoting the Shred Away Hunger program. Bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Twin Lakes Food Pantry and have two small bags of documents shredded free of charge).

Other vendors include: Big Al’s Pizza, Century 21/Larry Hodges Realty, Community Library, Concept Graphics Plus, Core Chiropractic & Wellness Center, Culligan Water Conditioning, D’s Dust Bunnies, Embracelets, Floor Restore Corp, Hartnell Chevrolet, Jude Tindall Construction, Keller Williams Premier Realty, Louie’s Lakeside Bait Shop and Marina, Mad Dan’s, Minuteman Press Burlington, Paradise Park Assisted Living and Memory Care, Richmond Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce, Slades Corners Computer Repair, LLC; Sports Physical Therapy, St. Alphonsus School, Sweet Violet Herbals, LLC. Talmer Bank and Trust, Town of Salem, Twin Lakes Marine and the Village of Twin Lakes

During the Business in the Park, you will also have a chance to bid on a Garden Gate, a new art project the Chamber is also sponsoring.

The garden gates, which have been decorated by area schools and artists, have been on display at local businesses for several weeks.

The winner will receive a monetary prize yet to be determined. The gates will be on display until Aug. 24 and then be available for purchase through the silent auction, which will be held during Business in the Park.
