Garage Sale Weekend is here. The weekend after Memorial Day and the weekend before Labor Day have traditionally been Garage Sale Weekends in the Village of Silver Lake, for the past four years.
That means from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday Aug. 24 and 25, the Silver Lake will be garage sale central.
Organizers are encouraging the residents to schedule their sales for these two weekends each year and join the free, collective advertising that includes a directory,
The directory will be available on the morning of Friday, Aug. 24, Scully’s Silver Lake Grill, and Harm’s Silver Lake Auto BP station. They are both located on Hwy. B or Cogswell Drive in Silver Lake.
This weekend (there will be a minimum of 13 sales being held with everything imaginable being offered. Each individual runs his own sale and sets his own hours, but that information is included in the free directory. Come and visit Silver Lake. For more information call (262) 206 6954.
