Central High School’s upcoming performing arts events

Central High School, 24617 75th Street, Salem, has many concerts and shows coming up in conjunction with their performing arts program.

“Swinging into Fall” is a jazz concert that will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. Central’s auditioned jazz band will be performing that evening. Admission is free to the public.

Central High School’s annual musical this year is “Bye, Bye, Birdie.” Performances for this show are Dec. 2,3, 4. The show times for the 2 and 3 are at 7 p.m., while the show on the 4 is a matinee occurring at 3 p.m.

Tickets for “Bye, Bye, Birdie” are $6 for students or seniors and $8 for adults if purchased ahead of time. At the door, tickets cost $8 for students or seniors and $10 for adults. Tickets are now available for purchase online at www.westosha.k12.wi.us.

The “Winter Choral Concert” will be on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Enjoy an evening of holiday music performed by Central’s Choraliers, Concert Choir, and Central Swing Inc. Admission is free.

The “Christmas Concert” will be on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. Central’s Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and jazz Central will be playing holiday music for those in attendance. Admission is free to the public.
