Panthers gear up for Homecoming 2012

“Midnight Masquerade” has been selected as this year’s homecoming theme at Wilmot Union High School.

Festivities begin Monday, Oct. 8 and conclude with the homecoming dance on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Homecoming court nomination deadline was Oct. 5. Monday, Oct. 8 kicks of a week of festivities, pajama day; Tuesday, Oct. 9, is color wars. Freshmen wear yellow; sophomores, green; juniors, purple, seniors, orange; Wednesday, Oct. 10, Hawiian Day and senior Toga Day; Thursday, Oct. 11, throwback Thursdays (dress for the 50s, 60s, 70s or 80s) and Friday, Oct. 12 is School Spirit Day.

The spirit assembly begins at 1:44 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and the parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the game beginning at 7 p.m. with the Panthers facing their cross-county rivals, the Westosha Central Falcons.

The dance will be held at the school, Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8 to 11 p.m. with coronation at 10 p.m.
