Russell A. Marrari, 58, ]of Twin Lakes, died Nov. 15, 2012, at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry.
He was born Oct. 17, 1954, in Milwaukee, to Santo and Dolores (Elwing) Marrari, living in Burlington, for many years before settling in Twin Lakes in 1996.
Russell was an accomplished musician with a great sense of humor, whom enjoyed fishing and especially being with his family. Russell was a C&C Programmer and has worked for many years as a supervisor at Kemper Valve & Fittings, Island Lake, Ill.
On March 18, 2000, he married Vicky Lawrence in Powers Lake.
Survivors include his wife Vicky; children Samantha Marrari of Elkhorn; Raschel (Nick Barczynski) Marrari Waukesha; Jason Marrari of Elkhorn and Jazmyn Marrari of Twin Lakes; a step-son Tyler Franzen of Twin Lakes; grandchildren: Ryan Treziak, Jealousy Marrari, Aiden Marrari, Savahra Marrari, and Katelyn Sokolowski; his father Santo (Doris) Marrari of Oconomowoc; his mother, Dolores Rubly of Arizona; siblings Pat (Paul) Marrari of Hortonville, Mike Marrari of Elkhorn, Pamela Marrari of Hortonville, and Sheri (Alan) Martini of Arizona; his long-time partner Melodie Marrari of Elkhorn and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Rubly.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday Nov. 19, at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
