The Westosha Central High School German Class will be hosting a public memorial service on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. in the school’s cafetorium, to honor late German teacher Captain David A. Novaez.
Novaez and his wife, also a teacher, both were killed Oct. 9 when a truck hit the motorcycle they were on. The school welcomes all those who would like to participate in the memorial where there will be time to share memories, view exhibits on Novaez’s life as well as witness the unveiling of the memory box.
