Mid-State Equipment donates to local food pantries for the holidays

Mid-State Equipment donated over $3,000 to food pantries in their surrounding communities of Columbus, Slinger, Hartford, Janesville, Prairie du Sac, Trevor and Watertown.

Mid-State Equipment is a full-line John Deere dealership with seven locations across south-central Wisconsin. Mid-State has locations within the Columbus, Jackson, Janesville, Prairie du Sac, Salem, and Watertown communities. The dealership offers an extensive inventory of both new and used equipment for homeowners, large property owners, commercial, light industrial and agricultural customers. Sales, parts, service and rental are available at all locations to keep customer operations efficient and productive.

True to the values of a family owned business, Chris Frodel and Bryan Hanson understand the importance of giving within one’s community. “We feel it is our obligation to give back to those that need help in the communities we serve, and we feel blessed to do our part,” says Chris Frodel, co-owner of Mid-State Equipment.

According to Feeding America, 1 in 5 children do not have enough to eat. In 2011, 50.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, 33.5 million adults and 16.7 million children. This highlights the importance of giving not only during the holidays, but also throughout the year.

“We are fortunate to have a chance to make a difference in our communities. One person or business cannot end hunger by themselves.  But, if we all gave a small amount, together we could really make a huge impact on stopping hunger,” says Bryan Hanson, co-owner of Mid-State Equipment.
