Suspicious person
at 4:56 a.m., on Holy Hill Road, a party called to tell police there was a male subject looking into vehicles and appearing to be intoxicated. When police responded, the male subject said he lost his apartment keys and was trying to find them. Officers gave him a ride home;
Welfare check
at 3:09 p.m., a complainant on Legion Drive called in to the station, saying there was a woman having difficulty walking and appeared to be intoxicated but wanted to drive home. When officers responded, the female subject was not intoxicated and appeared to be just fine;
Criminal damage to property
at 5:02 p.m., at Lakewood school on Wilmot Avenue, it was reported that a truck did damage to the property there. The subject was released from the scene, and officers will be following up;
Juvenile problems
at 5:26 p.m., a complainant in the Arrowhead subdivision called in, saying there was a group of juveniles walking through the area and appeared to be up to no good. The subjects were not found, even after the complainant called them in a second time;
Criminal damage to property
at 7:47 p.m., a male caller advised his vehicle, on 93rd Street, was struck by a rock thrown by subjects on the road. Officers could not locate the subjects who had thrown the rock;
Vandalism
at 8:52 p.m., a complainant on Sunburst Avenue called in saying that someone, probably juvenile subjects, had broken the door on his mailbox. No subjects were located upon officer arrival at the scene.
Nov. 13
Liquor violation
at 2:15 a.m., at a bar on Rink Avenue, an officer observed a subject with an open intoxicant behind the bar. The subject was cited and released to a responsible party;
Disorderly conduct
at 2:47 a.m., at the same bar on Rink Avenue mentioned above, the officer also noted five subjects fighting in the parking lot. Upon speaking to them, no charges were pursued. All were given verbal warnings for disorderly conduct and sent on their way;
Disorderly conduct
at 10:42 a.m., a neighbor on Herda Avenue called in, telling police that a mother had thrown her daughter’s possessions on the lawn and had locked her daughter out of the house. Officers responded and spoke to the mother and daughter, and it was decided that it would be best for the daughter and another child at the location to go with their grandparents;
Disorderly conduct
at 10:58 a.m., a complainant called from Burlington Avenue’s recycling center, saying that a man had been there three times and was swearing and causing problems. Officers responded to the subject’s address and spoke with him. Officers made sure the subject was calmed down before he would be allowed to return to the recycling center;
License violation
at 10:38 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Legion Drive for its driver’s side taillight being out and found the driver to be operating with a suspended license. Furthermore, the officer found the driver to be in possession of marijuana. The subject was taken into custody, cited, posted bond, and was released to a responsible party.
Nov. 14
Welfare check
at 5:34 p.m., on Mccole Road, a complainant called in and was worried about someone he had given a ride home that morning. She appeared to be intoxicated and had cut herself. When officers responded, the subject told them she would admit herself the next day;
Neighbor problems
at 5:34 p.m., a complainant came into the police station, advising that her neighbor had gotten upset and yelled at her over a disabled vehicle parked in her driveway. The complainant just wanted the event documented and, all information was taken;
Harassment
at 8:20 p.m., a complainant from the Subway on S. Lake Avenue called in, saying there was a man who kept coming into the store and harassing the female employees. An officer responded to the scene, talked to the manager there, and noted that the subject harassing the women was from another local business. The subject was spoken to and was given a verbal warning for harassment.
Nov. 15
Domestic disturbance
at 8:28 a.m., a complainant and his wife on Wilmot Avenue witnessed a neighbor punch his girlfriend and then kick her; she was outside crying. The complainant said this was an ongoing problem and something needed to be done. Officers responded, and the female denied being hit, so officers cleared;
Weapon violation
at 10:29 a.m., a complainant on Hickory Road called in saying there was a man next door shooting off a gun. Officers determined it was a BB gun, and the subject was advised of his ordinances concerning guns. He was also verbally warned;
Civil dispute
at 11:03 a.m., a complainant living on N. Lake Avenue said she bought a car from Craigslist and when she drove it home, it was leaking gas everywhere. Upon trying to get her money back from the seller, the seller refused to refund. An officer went and observed the paper work and declared this a civil matter only.
Nov. 17
Burning violation
at 7:23 a.m., construction workers on Valley Road were burning construction materials. A citizen called this in, and an officer responded to the scene, where the owner of the construction company was advised of the burning ordinance. The owner said they would stop burning the materials.
Nov. 18
Domestic disturbance
at 11:11 a.m., a complainant on Eisenhower Court called, saying that her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend were outside arguing. She was not sure it was physical, but there was a lot of yelling, and her daughter was refusing to get out of the car. Officers responded, and the female was taken to the station, as the complainant would not let her back into the house. A friend later picked her up;
Welfare check
at 9:25 p.m., Pleasant Prairie PD called in, asking officers to check on a woman on Grandview Lane. She had sent messages to a friend threatening to harm herself. Officers responded, and no one answered the door. They were later advised the subject was living in Trevor and advised Pleasant Prairie PD of the information.
