Mobile dentists coming to Johnsburg schools

Johnsburg School District 12 is hosting mobile dentists from Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 24 in all four schools. Mini dental officers will be set up. Consent forms will be sent home with students and are available at school officers. For those who are going to apply for these services but do not know how to make a dental appointment for their child, they can look here to see how this can be done and what the next steps are to take afterward.

Taking care of teeth is one of the most important things that should be part of daily living, unfortunately, as stated below, it can be hard for families to provide a constant dental care process if they do not have the relevant finances and/or healthcare package that includes dental from their place of work or their set out government plan, so when services like these are set up to be used, families need to take that opportunity as much as possible to make sure their children are getting the best care that they can do. Availing the services of emergency dentists in the vicinity too could seem to be a possibility in situations such as this.

Dental services can be provided to families who need financial assistance; there are subsidized fees for those who choose to pay for preventative care. Medicaid, CHIP, and most other insurances will be accepted.

All dentists are state licensed and will conduct a complete dental exam. This exam will also cover the state dental examination requirement for grades K, 2, and 6. Call Student Services at (815) 385-6460 for more information
