The Wilmot Union High School Student Council worked with the American Red Cross and hosted a blood drive Oct. 21 at the school. The goal was 90 pints; several students with the Type O blood type opted to give platelets as well, upping the ante a bit. One blood donation, a pint, can save up to three lives.
