Conceptual approval of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) at 1202 Musial Road was granted during a joint meeting of the Twin Lakes Plan Commission and Twin Lakes Village Board on March 17.
Property owners are requesting a PUD be created for four single-family homes on 7.8 acres. The condominiums would have common space that would be maintained by homeowners’ association fees.
Twin Lakes Fire Chief Stan Claus Jr., was concerned with the width of the entrance and in a letter said the entrance should be 15 feet wide at the street and the radius of the driveway should be set in accordance with the turning radius of TLFD Truck No. 6530.
Attorney Kim Lewis, representing the applicants said the homeowners would be happy to do whatever the fire chief deemed the safest.
