The Village of Silver Lake will host its annual Twelfth Night celebration on Friday, Jan. 6, beginning at 7 p.m.  at the Silver Lake Fire House, 113 S. First Street, Silver Lake.
Anyone having a fresh trees or evergreen boughs, wreaths and swags can deposit them at the clearing across from the fire house.  The lighting will begin at 7 p.m. under the watchful eye of the Silver Lake Fire Department.
This annual tradition has been a community favorite for many years.  No need to worry about the cold, as the heat from the fire will keep you warm.  Cookies and hot cocoa will be provided by the Fire Department Auxiliary and the Parks, Land and Library committee.
