Annual Memorial Day pancake breakfast and program set

american-flagThe Antioch VFW and Cub Scout Pack 191 announce their Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Program. Cub Scout Pack 191 and their sponsor organization, Antioch VFW Sequoit Post 4551 welcome you to join them on Monday, May 26 for their annual Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the VFW Memorial Day Program and presentation. This year, SR71 Blackbird pilot Lieutenant Colonel Bernie Smith, USAF (Ret.) is the featured speaker.

Tickets for the breakfast are $5 per person (under 4 free with paid adult) and are available from the Scouts and at the VFW. Scouts will also be selling tickets at locations in town.

The VFW is also holding its 2014 Memorial Day Half Beef and Cash Prize Raffle, with winners to be drawn at the Pancake Breakfast. Additional raffles will be held during the event. $10 raffle tickets are available from VFW Members, Ladies Auxiliary and at the Post Bar – which is open to the public daily at 4 p.m. You can also visit the VFW for Bingo on Tuesday evening to purchase tickets.
