KATHRYN BYTHELL

Kathryn Bythell (Clancy), 93, of Twin Lakes, died peacefully June 24, 2014, at Francis House in South Milwaukee. A native of Chicago, Kathryn was a banker, gardener, baseball fan and Girl Scout leader who raised her family in Villa Park, Ill. She spent her retirement years in Twin Lake, as a member of St. John’s Church and a volunteer for multiple church and community organizations, including 17 years with Eldereach.

She was married to Bernard Bythell for 68 years and was the devoted mother of Jean (Frank) Kaleba, Carol (Wayne Greider) Meyer, Diane (Charles Kuszmaul) Bythell, Barbara Bythell, and Robert (Susan) Bythell; proud grandmother of nine. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters, numerous attentive nieces and nephews and her sister, Delores (Denny) Mollahan. She was preceded in death by sisters Dorothea (Harold) Reynolds and Mildred (Charles) Peterson.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 701 N. lake Ave., Twin Lakes. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Union Grove.
