Doves soar to reaffirm life

The fifth annual Labor of Love Day Music Festival was held at New Munster Ball Park Aug. 31 to celebrate life and healing after the trauma of a loved one’s suicide. After a moment of commemorative silence, Bob and Sue Riley, grandparents of Jaime Leigh Wilson, in whose memory the event was created, and Shelly Zahn, originally of Kenosha, who lost a daughter to suicide, participate a ceremonial release of doves.
