According to a report by Wilmot High School Sunday, the school’s drinking water is safe, after testing concluded there was no E.coli present.

The school shut off the water supply Friday when unofficial testing revealed potential e.coli, which necessitated the need to turn of drinking fountains and post signs throughout the school.

Initially, the school anticipated the Kenosha County Health Department to conduct testing Monday, with results being released Tuesday.

However, they were able to obtain samples Friday, which led to Sunday’s results.

The school planned to continue the precautions Monday and provide bottled water to all students and staff.

Additionally, they also expected to inform students and staff Monday.
