Writers note: On Tuesday, No. 7 seeded Wilmot defeated No. 10 Jefferson 85-66 at Wilmot, and advanced to Friday’s showdown at No. 2 Burlington.
Seniors Christian Janssen and Bobby Brenner pitched in 23 points apiece for the Panthers.
Sophomore Latrell Glass buried four 3-pointers and finished with 19.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Wilmot 75, Waterford 66
The Panthers ended the regular season on a high note, defeating visiting Waterford Thursday 75-66, despite a 36-36 halftime deadlock.
Wilmot senior Bobby Brenner knocked in a game-high 28 points, including nine from 3-point range, and snagged six rebounds with four blocked shots.
Sophomore Jeremy Bruton went 4-for-4 from the perimeter, and finished with 21 points.
Latrell Glass, a sophomore, and senior Christian Janssen each had 12 points for the Panthers, who improved to 7-7 in the Southern Lakes Conference, and 9-13 overall.

Burlington 69, Westosha Central 57
A 20-point deficit after the first half was too much for visiting Westosha Central to overcome at Burlington last Thursday, dropping the regular season finale 69-57.
The Falcons’ Lucas Graveley scored a game-high 18 points, including 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and senior Ron Hall added ten points for Westosha Central.
However, the Demons countered with 16 points from Nick Klug while Mitch Klug added 10.
