Classes could resume as late as Thursday

Classes could be cancelled until at least Thursday at Wilmot Union High School, according to District Administrator Dan Kopp, noting a broken well pump.
The school shut its doors Monday when the facility reportedly had no water, followed by cancellation of sports and community education activities.
“Our well pump is shot. They are replacing it (Tuesday),” Kopp said. “School is out on Wednesday as well so we can verify the water is OK.”
Wilmot’s home softball game against Kenosha Bradford was cancelled.
On Monday morning, Kopp said there would not be a makeup day, but there is no indication whether the district plans to add more days when the school announced cancellation of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kopp hopes classes resume Thursday.
