After a hard fought loss to Delavan-Darien Tuesday, the Westosha Central girls soccer time stepped up in a rivalry game at Wilmot Friday, shutting out the Lady Panthers 1-0.
Sophomore Stephanie Dopuch, who scored the decisive goal early in the second half, stated it was redemption after losing a 4-2 decision against the Comets Tuesday.
Additionally, Friday’s shutout is freshman Kelsey Gross’ fourth of the season, according to coach Luis Totera.
The Lady Falcons improved to 2-3 in the Southern Lakes Conference while Wilmot dropped to 1-3-1.
