Landscaping for Birds offered March 3

Learn to increase the number and variety of birds that will inhabit your backyard in the “Landscaping for Birds” workshop from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 First Avenue, Kenosha.

Mariette Nowak will share how to create a natural habitat and buffet of berries, nuts, and seeds to encourage different birds to frequent your backyard, as well as bees, butterflies and even bats – by restoring and preserving natural communities. Cost is $23 or $18 for the Friends of the Museums. Advance registration required. Call (262) 653-4140.
