GIRLS TENNIS: Barningham/Wysiatko stay unbeaten for Central

As the Lady Falcons swept visiting Delavan-Darien Tuesday, the Westosha Central High School duo of juniors Katie Barningham and Brooke Wysiatko stayed perfect at 5-0 in No. 3 doubles, defeating Comet pair Jada Thur/Teyha Lebow.

The Westosha Central sweep gives the squad a 4-1 dual record.

Meanwhile, in singles play, freshman Janell Gillmore improved to 4-1 in No. 3 after defeating Jada Melito in straight sets.

Like Gillmore, sophomore Sara Backus is also 4-1, beating Laura Farley at No. 2.

The two singles players are not the only players at 4-1, however, with the duo of seniors Alyssa Hrncar/Tori Salerno winning in No. 1 doubles and senior Michelle Belmont/junior Ashley Wells taking No. 2 doubles.
