GIRLS GOLF: Central, Wilmot take top spots at County Invite

Seniors Colleen Nolan and Mallory Scheppa were two of three Westosha Central/Shoreland Lutheran golfers to crack the top 10 in Monday’s Kenosha County Invite at Brighton Dale Links, where the Falcons took home the title.

The senior duo, who both scored a 93 on the par 72 course, finished five strokes shy of first-place Monica Cucunato of Bradford.

Meanwhile, for second-place Wilmot Union High School, senior McKenna Stanek and sophomore Keegan Destree both had a 101 to take sixth and seventh, respectively.

Other top finishers among 25 total competitors were Wilmot junior Madison Bailey (8th – 102), Falcons senior Emily Allen (9th – 102) and Panthers sophomore Lauren Christensen (10th – 102).
