Hall of Fame candidates wanted
Wilmot Union High School is currently seeking applicants for its 2018 Hall of Fame. In order to be eligible for this honor, candidates must have graduated from Wilmot Union High School in 2008 or earlier.

Candidates meeting this sole criteria will then be judged based upon the following aspects: Leadership, Achievements, Service to his/her community, and other factors not listed above and as defined by the candidate.

For people interested in applying, they can request a copy from the District Office at (262) 862-9005, or download it from the school website at wilmothighschool.com/Community/Alumni_Hall_of_Fame.

From there, click ‘how to apply’ as well as well as the ‘Application for Hall of Fame.’

Completed applications can be dropped off at the school, or mail to: Hall of Fame Selection Committee, Wilmot Union High School, PO Box 8, Wilmot, WI 53192.

Send Wilmot students to Denver
Representatives from Wilmot Union High School’s Student Government is scheduled to attend a Leadership Experience and Development Conference in Denver from Nov. 10 through 13.

According to the organization’s GoFundMe page, LEAD conferences offer experiential leadership skills development to students and advisers, and are a program of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

NAASP administers the National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society and National Association of Student Councils.

Proceeds from the GoFundMe page go towards travel, lodging and conference fees for students attending the event.
