Authorities report vehicle entries in Powers Lake

For residents in the Nippersink and Powers Lake area in Kenosha County, the Sheriff’s Department has strongly suggested they keep their vehicles locked, after they received six reported vehicle entries the last few days.

According to the Sheriff’s Department Facebook Page, items taken include electronics, tools and money.
“In each case the vehicles were unlocked and parked at residences in those areas,” the post stated. “We urge ALL County residents to lock their cars when they are parked.”

Additionally, to prevent thefts, keep valuables out of vehicles, the post stated.
