Muhlenbeck, a 6-foot-2 hitter, joins a team that captured The Conference Carolinas title in the school’s 2016 winter sports season with a 14-3 record (20-7 overall).

“Proud to announce that I have officially committed to play division 1 college volleyball at Erskine College,” Muhlenbeck Tweeted.

Muhlenbeck, who helped the Falcons cap off an undefeated Southern Lakes Conference season, is not the first Westosha Central athlete to connect with the Flying Fleet, which graduated Mike Michelau.

Meanwhile, Muhlenbeck is excited for the opportunity to play in Due West, South Carolina.

“I’ve always wanted to play at a really high level of volleyball and The Conference Carolinas brings that passion and intensity that I was looking for!” Muhlenbeck responded.
