A 54-year-old Twin Lakes man reportedly struck and pinned beneath a vehicle Wednesday morning was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, where he is receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries, according to a Twin Lakes Police Department press release.

The crash, according to witnesses, happened when he was scraping frost off the windows of a 2001 Ford mini-van, which went into gear and reversed in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 400 block of Holy Hill Road.

“In an attempt to stop the vehicle, the male subject fell and was run over, pinning him underneath,” the press release stated.

When Twin Lakes police officers and Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue arrived shortly after 8 a.m., they found him beneath the vehicle, but authorities successfully removed him before Flight for Life came.

“The subject was transported via Flight for Life Helicopter to Froedtert Hospital,” the release stated. “He is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.”
