Antioch to host 21st annual Eggcellent Easter Adventure

For the 21st year the Village of Antioch Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Eggcellent Easter Adventure and Parade, on Saturday April 7.

                  The parade will line up at Skidmore Drive, head north on Main Street to Williams Street. The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m., and conclude at Williams Park Pavilion, where the egg hunt is set to begin as soon as everyone arrives.

                  This year the egg hunt will be limited to the first 700 children to register. No Registration will be accepted at the park. Registration is being accepted through at the Parks office before the event.

Registration is being held through Friday, April 6, or until sold out. The  Parks and Recreation office is located at 806 Holbek Drive, in Antioch.

                  The fee is $3 per child.  Children ages 1 through 10 years old. Children will be limited to 10 eggs each.

                  The hunt goes on rain or shine. Bags will be provided and photos will be available with the Easter Bunny until 12:30 p.m. for $3 per photo.
