Richard N. Nelson Jr., 50, of Salem died April 25, 2012, at his home. He was born on Aug. 11, 1961, to Richard and the late Joan (Schwenn) Nelson Sr.
He worked as a mechanic. Richard enjoyed auto racing, watching the Green Bay Packers, going fishing and snowmobiling. He enjoyed spending time around the bon fire surrounded by his friends and family.
He is survived by his father; children Richard Nelson III (Alisha Vaughn) of Kenosha; Karah Nelson of Kenosha and Mathew Nelson of Kenosha; grandchildren Jaset Segura and Shane Nelson; sisters Theresa Popp of Twin Lakes and Jeanna and Emma Nelson of Camp Lake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, brothers Wayne and Robert and a sister, Linda.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Street, Twin Lakes.
