Stateline Dance Club brings “Another Stately Dance” to the 90-year-old “sprung floor” Twin Lakes Ballroom (now known as Rumpoles Wonder Bar), on Friday June 8, at 7 p.m.
Admission of $15 for singles and $25 for couples includes a 45-minute Tango lesson by professional instructor Jack Ryan, music by DJ Mike of the Pfat Kats, a Showcase Dance, appetizers, a wide variety of strict tempo music and shoes for sale by Traveling Dance Shoes.

Rumpoles is the largest and oldest ballroom in both Wisconsin and Illinois. Big Bands such as Glen Miller, the Dorseys and Lawrence Welk played. Welk served as the resident musician for the summer of 1931.
