Andrew Wayne Bauer, 57, of the Village of Bloomfield died June 2, 2012, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1954. On April 17, 1980, in Chicago, he married Janis Coutre. He worked for over 36 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Palatine, Ill. Andrew was a member of the Twin Lakes and Pell Lake Seniors. He enjoyed fishing and doing woodworking. He collected coins. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Janis; children Paulette (Robert) Gray of Crystal Lake, Ill., John (Donna) Borys of Round Lake Heights, Ill.; Jane Borys of Wisconsin; grandchildren Liam Bauer Gray, Emily Gray, Brandon Borys, Ryan Borys, Megan Borys, Maria Borys; sisters Barbara (Dennis) Holfels and Susan (Bruce) Griedanus.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 5, at the Haase-Lockwood Funeral Homes, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made in Andrew’s name to the American Heart Association.
