JOHN C. “BISCUIT” GREGORY

John C. “Biscuit” Gregory, 55, of Twin Lakes, died June 19, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 6, 1957, to the Iva and Clara (Willson) Gregory in Knoxville, Tenn.

He was raised in Detroit, Mich., and graduated from South Eastern High School in Detroit.

On Feb. 16, 1980, he married Ilene Wilson in Milwaukee.

John served for over 25 years on the Kenosha Police Department, where he worked first as a patrolman and then with the Gang Unit, where he then was promoted to Detective and served from 1999-2011.

He also served as a police officer with the Twin Lakes Police Department for more than 27 years, retiring recently as a Lieutenant. He received his associate’s degree in police science from Gateway Technical College.

John enjoyed going fishing, woodworking and watching the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his wife Ilene; children Perry, John Jr. (Megan) and Christine. He is further survived by his grandchildren John III, Austin, Devan, Jasmine, Landon and Autumn; father-in-law Millard (Marlene) Wilson; brother-in-laws Floyd (Debbie) Bowling, Scott Wilson, David Wilson and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. at the Haase Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, from 4 to 8 p.m.
