Four-year-old drowns in family pool

Just before noon on June 26, Kensoha County Sheriff’s Deputies and members of the Bristol Rescue Squad responded to a call concerning a four-year-old boy who had been found unresponsive, in a family swimming pool. According to the sheriff’s report the child had been playing inside with a sibling when the child’s mother had her 8 year old watch the 4 year old for a few minutes while she was busy. She later found him in the pool and began CPR while rescue was enroute.

Deputies and Bristol Rescue staff performed CPR for approximately 30 minutes on their arrival and were unable to revive the boy. Sheriff’s Department detectives and the Medical Examine are on scene. The case is open and investigation on-going. No other information is being released at this time.
