If those are creme puffs, it must be State Fair time!

The 161st Wisconsin State Fair will take place AUg. 2 – 12 at State Fair Park in West Allis. The 200 acre park features 30 free stages of ongoing entertainment. On Wednesday, Aug. 8, during UW-Madison Day, the UW Marching Band, Bucky Badger and the UW Cheerleaders will pump up the crowd. Thursday, Aug. 9 is once again Golden Guernsey Dairy Day, when Fairgoers will enjoy the immensely popular Cream Puff Eating Contests. The Fairgoer Cream Puff Eating Contests occur at the Central Park stage beginning at 1 p.m. and offer multiple age brackets from toddlers through adults. Because of its increased popularity, the Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest will take place on the Cousins Subs Amphitheater Stage at 11:45 a.m.  For more information log on to www.WiStateFair.com or on Facebook. (Photo submitted)
