The ultimate horse power

This weekend visitors to Old World Wisconsin will be able to work with a variety of old farming equipment, like a thresher (not shown) that is being powered by these horses walking on a “treadmill.” It’s all part of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Days at the museum, located in Eagle. Visitors will get to immerse themselves in Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life during “Laura Ingalls Wilder Days:  Bonnets, Britches, Tractors and Hitches” on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 4-5.   The event takes place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Old World Wisconsin is located at W372 S9727 Highway 67, Eagle. For more information, call (262) 594-6301 or visit [email protected].
