Deputies bust underage drinking party

 

McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of an underage drinking party just before midnight on July 27,

Deputies observed suspicious activity occurring in the 8400 block of Tryon Grove Road and made contact with two male occupants in a suspicious vehicle in the area.

The males said they were trying to meet up with others who were inside a residence in the area. Deputies found several subjects hiding within the residence and met with a juvenile female host, who informed deputies that she was related to the property owner and was granted permission to be on the property.

Deputies contacted the property owner and learned the female and eight others there did not have permission to be on the property. While conducting their investigation, deputies found that underage drinking had been occurring at the residence.

Seven Notices to Appear were issued and parents responded to the scene and took custody of the juvenile offenders. The residence was then secured.

Joseph G. Dierkes, 18 was charged with unlawful possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis Hebron.

The following were charged with Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by Minor. The names of minors are not published:

One female juvenile from McHenry; Coty W. Lusk, 18, Wonder Lake; a female juvenile from Twin Lakes, Wis.; Dennis P. Kucia19, Genoa City; Michael B. Palmer, 18, Genoa City; a male juvenile Hebron.

Those cited must appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 6.
