Wildland firefighters were one hand during the Lake County Fire Safety Expo to remind residents that fire prevention is everyone’s responsibility. Tools wildland crew members use to fight wild fires that can occur in grassy areas or forest fires were displayed and firefighters were on hand to explain how they do their job.
