The Public Beach at Bohners’ Lake in the Town of Burlington was closed Tuesday, Aug. 28 due to high bacteria counts in the water.
This closure serves as a warning that the water is unsafe for swimming. Subsequent testing continues to show high bacterial levels. The beach will remain closed throughout the weekend and until water samples demonstrate safe bacterial levels.
