Chief’s Pork Chop Dinner and fire station open house

The Somers Fire and Rescue Association will hold the annual Chief’s Pork Chop Dinner from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at Fire Station No. 1, 7511 12th Street in downtown Somers (one mile west of Hwy. 31 on

Hwy. E).

The cost for the dinner is $10 per person for a thick, premium cut pork chop, baked potato, corn, apple sauce and dessert. Soda, milk or coffee comes with the meal.

A kid’s meal of a hot dog, chips and beverage will also be available for $3.50.

Carry-outs will be available. Ample parking is available next door to the fire station at the Somers Town Hall. Use the Town Hall entrance.

Proceeds will aid the association’s efforts to support the Somers Fire and Rescue Department, the Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety and other charitable endeavors.

The Somers Fire and Rescue Association Inc. is a registered 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
