Twin Lakes police, fire now searching for elderly man

Members of the Twin Lakes police and fire departments are currently searching for an  84-year-old man who was last seen at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to Detective Joshua Cooper of the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, the man was last seen by his caregiver at 4:30 a.m. Cooper said authorities are not releasing his name at this time but said the missing man lives on E. Lake Shore Drive.

The missing man is  white, about 5’8 with curly silver hair. Twin Lakes rescue personnel and police were called for a search about 11 a.m. this morning and have been searching an area around Millennium Park. Fire Chief Stan Clause said search teams are concentrating on a small area around the park at this time and will likely spread further out if the search is not successful. The area is extremely woody in places and most of the corn fields are still standing, making the search even more difficult.

A road crew doing work near the park told authorities they did see a man fitting the description walk by much earlier in the morning.

Anyone with information should call the Twin Lakes Police Department at (262) 877-9056.
