The Twin Runners Snowmobile Club will hold a snowmobile Radar Run on Sunday, Feb. 10, on the east end of Lake Mary in front of the Pier West Restaurant.
Snowmobiles of all types will make timed runs down a 1,000 ft. ice strip. You may see anything from antique machines to highly modified race sleds. There are classes for all types of snowmobiles.
Trophies will be awarded in all classes, with a $100 cash prize for the fastest speed recorded.
Should you wish to run your machine, tether safety switches are required. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with timed runs beginning at 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. The cost is $5 for a single run, or $10 for three.
Food and drink service will be available at Pier West throughout the day. Pier West is located at 511 Wilmot Ave., Twin Lakes. There is limited parking at the event site, and additional participant and spectator parking at Lance Park (Lance Drive, Twin Lakes). A shuttle trailer will transport race machines from Lance Park to the track area.
The event is co-sponsored by the Wonder Lake Lakers Snowmobile Club.
