April 28

Fire calls

      •  At 2:05 a.m., a caller from the 700 block of Meadow Ct. advised that her fire alarm was going off. She wasn’t sure if it was the smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. Desk toned out Twin Lakes Fire. Officers also responded. The residence was checked and all units cleared, advising it was a faulty detector;

Disorderly conduct–fight

      • At 2:48 a.m., a caller advised that there was a large fight occurring in the 800 block of Maple Ave. She advised she could hear yelling, but wasn’t sure if it was physical. Officers responded and requested backup. Desk contacted KSD who sent a deputy. Officers spoke with subjects involved and checked the area. All units later cleared advising that follow up was to continue;

Missing adult

      • At 5:53 a.m., a caller from Living Hope, 1213 Main St., called and advised that one of the residents left the location sometime last evening. She gave a description of what he may have been wearing. Genoa City officer advised TLPD that she was with a subject who fit the clothing description. This person was also most likely the subject she reported walking earlier. She advised she would be returning to the PD with the subject. She responded to the PD with the subject and he was turned over to rescue. An officer spoke with Sheila from living hope and turned the information over to her advising that the subject would be going to Burlington Hospital;

Harassment

      • At 2:50 p.m., complainant called from 100 block of Schoors Ln. stating she wanted to speak to an officer because her neighbor keeps harassing her and her family. She then decided she wanted to come to the PD rather than have an officer respond to her house. At 5:20 p.m., an officer advised he was flagged down and would be out speaking with the complainant at Lance Park. After speaking with the complainant. Officer advised that based on the information there is not much the PD can assist her with. Complainant just wanted it noted that the neighbor was speaking with her son. Officer cleared;

Trespassing

      • At 5:51 p.m., in the 1700 block of Esch Rd., a male party called stating there were multiple subjects riding dirt bikes in the farm field in the above area. Officers responded and advised they were riding through the field at the above address and said they have permission to do so. Officers cleared and desk contacted the owner. Owner said that no one has permission to be on the property. An officer returned, delivered the message along with verbal warnings and cleared;

Burning violation

      • At 4:02 p.m., a female subject called from the 400 block of Lincoln Dr., stating someone was burning and she believed it was coming from the above location. She said that the smoke is enveloping the entire area and is so thick. An officer responded and requested the Desk contact someone from the Fire Dept. Officer later advised he would be standing by for the fire chief to arrive. Officer later advised that fire chief said the fire needed to be knocked down. Employees would be knocking it down with a bobcat and officer cleared.

 

April 30

Property damage

      • At 9:24 a.m., party from the 1700 block of E. Lakeshore Drive called stating that a vehicle hit his garbage and recycle bins sometime the night before or early in the morning and there is a part from the car left at the scene. Officers responded and advised there is no damage to the bins and will do a minor property damage accident report. Officers cleared. At 0945 hrs., driver of vehicle called to report that she hit two garbage bins the night before and there is damage to the vehicle. An officer responded and took information for accident report;

Fire call

      • At 5:50 p.m., KCJS toned out Twin Lakes Fire to 14520 W. Juniper for mutual aid. Tenders were requested from Twin Lakes for a Newport Township structure fire. Mabas box 14-48 was at the fourth alarm. Desk toned out Twin Lakes Fire as well. 6565 responded and assisted;

Disorderly conduct

      • At 8:07 p.m., anonymous caller advised that there was someone revving a race car in the 300 block of E. Hunt Ave. and she would like the noise to stop. An officer responded and checked the area did not hear anything, but checked where the caller thought it may be coming from. It was the subject running his engine earlier. He is done for the night and the officer cleared.

 

May 1

Suspicious activity

      • At 3:03 a.m., a woman from the 600 block of Hickory Rd. called the PD stating she had received a text from her neighbor stating that someone was pounding on her door. She stated that the dogs were barking outside but that she did not see anyone. Officers responded and checked the area but were unable to locate anyone. Officers did speak with the neighbor, advised her of their findings and cleared;

Disorderly conduct

      • At 12:40 p.m., a female party from the 500 block of Oakwood Trail called stating there is a male subject at her residence who is pounding on the door and windows. She is familiar with the subject but does not know why he is there or who he is looking for. Officers responded but the subject was gone upon arrival. An officer went to his residence but nobody answered the door. Information will be passed on to 2nd shift.

 

May 2

Suspicious person

      • At 3:24 p.m., the Lakewood school administrator called and advised that a parent was walking to pick her child up from school and she was confronted by a suspicious subject. He kept

Asking her questions and made her feel uneasy. She did not have a phone with her, so she had the school call when she arrived. The subject is described as an older male white with gray hair wearing a tan coat and blue jeans. He was last seen walking north on Wilmot Ave. at about S. Lake Ave. An officer responded and checked the area but did not locate the subject and responded to the School to speak with the complainant. The suspect’s coat was picked up at the beach bar. It is a tan jacket with two baseballs in the pockets. It was placed into the evidence lockers for safekeeping. An officer will follow up.

 

May 4

Disorderly conduct

      • At 10:45 p.m., Kenosha County called stating they received a call from the complainant about a possible fight at Beach Bar, 402 S. Lake Ave. Six to seven male and female subjects at the entrance to the bar were arguing. One of the suspects was taken into custody and transported to Kenosha County Jail.

 

May 6

Property damage                       • At 6:28 p.m., a subject came to the PD stating he observed kids in a black Crown Vic driving through the farm field on W. Main St. at Hwy P. He said they took off across Hwy P toward Nippersink. Subject said he already spoke to the property owner who wanted him to file the report for the damage. An officer took the information and issued a verbal warning for trespassing and property damage;

Animal at large

      • At 9:47 a.m., a complainant from the 800 block of Maureen Ct. came into the PD to report that the neighbor’s dogs attacked his dog this morning while walking the dog in his own yard. The owner of the dogs was out of town at the time of the complaint. He came in later and was issued a citation for animal at large. He was also advised to not make contact with his neighbor based on some comments he had made to the complainant.

 

May 9

Shoplifting

      • At 9:34 a.m., the Sentry Foods manager called stating subject was caught shoplifting and took off down N. Lake Avenue on his electric wheel chair. Officers responded and located subject. Citation issued by the request of the store, and he was given a verbal warning for trespassing and told to never come back into the store.
