National Night Out is Tuesday in Twin Lakes

The Twin Lakes Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the parking lot of St. John’s Catholic Church, 701 N. Lake St., Twin Lakes.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a welcome. At 5:30 p.m. fire department ladder races begin with the Twin Lakes Fire Department taking on the Randall Fire Department and Wheatland Fire Department.

Continuing with traditional, a taser demonstration will take place, courtesy of the Twin Lakes Police Department.

At 5:55 p.m. the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad and K9 Union will put on several demonstrations.

AT 6:20 p.m. there will be an air bag demonstration, courtesy O’Brien’s Pit Stop; a vehicle extrication with the TLFD and a fire hose spray demo into the grass area, time and weather permitting.

There will be door prizes awarded at 7 p.m. and at 7:15 p.m. the announcement of the pizza competition winner ill be announced, with trophy presentation.
